Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can impact your travel plans. However, to ensure seamless management of our accommodations, the following policy applies to all reservations:
- More than 30 days before arrival: The reservation amount is refundable to the original method of payment, minus a $50 + tax administration fee.
- 29 to 15 days or less before arrival: 50% of the total amount will be refunded.
- No refund will be provided for cancellations made 14 days or less before the check in date. The full amount of the reservation will be retained.
- No show or early departure: 100% of the stay is charged.
We recommend that guests obtain 3rd party travel or cancellation insurance. Weather conditions do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Modifications to Reservations
Modifications to reservations are subject to the conditions below.
- If the change is requested more than 15 days before the arrival date, your stay can be transferred only once, within 6 months of your original booking date. Additional fees may apply depending on the new dates chosen.
- For any request made 14 days or less before the arrival date, no changes, postponements, or refunds will be possible.
Length of Stays
At Alo Nature, a minimum length of stay is required to ensure consistent quality of service and seamless management of our site.
- A minimum stay of 2 nights is required for all weekends, subject to availability.
- Reservations over public holidays are required to be a minimum of 3 nights
Arrival & Departure Times
Check in: from 16:00
Check out: no later than 11:00
If you plan to arrive after 8 p.m., please inform us in advance at info@alonature.ca.
Late check outs or early arrivals may incur additional fees and must be approved in advance.
Guests are required to provide valid identification upon arrival. Failure to do so may result in denied access without refund.
Occupancy Limits & Visitors
- The maximum occupancy per accommodation must be respected at all times.
- Only registered guests are allowed on the property.
- Visitors are not permitted without prior written approval from Alo Nature.
Failure to comply may result in denied access without refund or additional fees.
Liability and Personal Responsibility
Guests acknowledge that Alo Nature is a nature based property and that outdoor environments involve inherent risks.
Alo Nature shall not be held responsible for:
- Personal injury, accidents, or loss of life
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
- Acts of nature, wildlife encounters, or weather related incidents
Guests assume full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of their party.
Quiet Hours
To preserve the tranquility of the site:
Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 08:00
- Loud music, disruptive behaviour, or excessive noise is strictly prohibited at any time.
Repeated or serious disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund.
Respect of the Site and Other Guests
Each visitor is responsible for their own behavior and that of those accompanying them. We count on you to contribute to a respectful, safe, and pleasant environment for everyone.
- You are fully responsible for any breakage, loss or damage to the equipment, buildings or facilities made available to you.
- The establishment accepts no responsibility for theft, loss or damage to your personal belongings, including vehicles, bicycles and boats.
- Any inappropriate behavior, failure to comply with instructions or disturbance caused to other visitors may result in additional charges, the withdrawal of your security deposit, or even immediate expulsion without refund.
- It is important to lock the doors of your accommodation when you are away.
- The use of candles is permitted only if they are placed in the lanterns provided for this purpose. Any other use is prohibited for fire safety reasons.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside accommodations and on Alo Nature property. Furthermore, it is forbidden to throw cigarette butts on the ground, in parking lots, or in the forest.
- Under current legislation, the consumption or sale of cannabis is prohibited throughout the site.
Pets Policy
- Pets are not allowed on the property under any circumstances.
Smoking & Fire Safety
- All accommodations are strictly non smoking.
- Smoking is not permitted on Alo Nature property.
- Fires are allowed only in provided fire pits on site and subject to local fire restrictions.
- Campfires are permitted only in designated fire pits. They must be supervised at all times, and burning harmful materials is prohibited.
- Fires may be temporarily prohibited at any time due to municipal regulations. Please respect the notices posted or provided by our team.
Amenities & Equipment Use
Guests must use all amenities (spa, sauna, outdoor equipment, trails, etc.) responsibly and strictly in accordance with posted instructions.
Alo Nature shall not be held liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from misuse or failure to follow safety guidelines. Guests are financially responsible for any damage, loss, or deterioration of property caused by themselves or their guests, beyond normal wear and tear. Associated repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
Spa / Sauna
- Use is at the guest's own risk.
- Running, diving, or unsafe behaviour is prohibited.
- Guests must comply with posted safety signage at all times.
- Before each use, it is strongly recommended to rinse off in the shower to preserve water quality.
- The maximum number of people allowed in the spa at one time must be respected.
- The spa cover should remain closed when not in use to retain heat and prevent debris from accumulating.
- No glass containers are allowed in or around the spa.
If the water quality is deemed inadequate at the time of your departure (presence of sand, wine, food, excessive foam, etc.), or if damage is caused, cleaning or emptying fees will be automatically deducted from your security deposit.
Fire Wood
In effort to protect our forest against the spread of invasive insects and diseases, it is strictly forbidden to bring your own firewood onto the site, regardless of its origin.
- Bringing your own wood onto the site is strictly prohibited.
- Failure to comply will result in a $30 fee being automatically deducted from your security deposit.
- Review the guest welcome book in your accommodation for information for purchase.
Emergency Procedures
Emergency contact information and instructions are provided in each accommodation.
Guests must familiarise themselves with emergency exits, fire safety equipment, and evacuation routes upon arrival.
Wildlife & Nature Awareness
- Wildlife may be present at all times.
- Feeding or approaching animals is prohibited.
- Food must be securely stored to avoid attracting wildlife.
Site Conduct
Any activity deemed unsafe, illegal, or disruptive to guests, staff, or the natural environment is prohibited.
To ensure a peaceful and safe site, certain behaviors are strictly regulated throughout the site:
- Fireworks are prohibited at all times.
- A curfew is in effect from 11 p.m. Please respect the peace of the site, especially in the evening and at night.
- The maximum speed allowed on the site is 10 km/h. Be vigilant, especially near wildlife and pedestrians.
- Access to our trails is free for all guests. Whether you wish to walk in the forest, observe wildlife, or simply enjoy the surrounding tranquility, these trails are there to connect you with what truly matters.
- We ask you to stay on the trails at all time to preserve and protect the forest floor.
- It is strictly forbidden to cut trees, branches, uproot plants or alter the natural environment.
- Any violation of this regulation may result in a fine of $200, in addition to the environmental consequences that it entails.
Alo Nature reserves the right to terminate a stay immediately, without refund, in cases of non compliance.
Right to Refusal & Enforcement
At any time, Alo Nature reserves the right to; Refuse service, Cancel a reservation and/or Evict guests without refund.
Alo Nature's rules are in place to guarantee the safety, respect, and quality of the experience offered to all our visitors.
They may be modified at any time and without notice, depending on changes to the site, regulations, or operational needs.
Failure to comply with the rules may result in charges, your security deposit being retained, and in some cases, immediate eviction without refund may be applied.
